Firstly, they needed to transfer ownership of SAP ECC systems at 3 manufacturing plants to their global Information Systems (IS) team, requiring a robust governance framework and seamless knowledge transfer. Secondly, they aimed to consolidate their SAP ECC systems into a unified SAP S/4HANA platform to standardise operations and improve data governance globally.
